The dome snaps on cleanly without any tools, which saved me time on set. It does cut down the light output noticeably, but the softer falloff is worth it for interviews.

Really easy to mount directly onto the light, and it stays secure even when I tilt the panel down for a low shot. The diffusion is smooth and even across the whole surface, which saves me from having to flag it separately.

The dome shape actually softens the light better than flat diffusers I’ve used, and it clicks on without any fiddly rigging. On set, it’s saved me from harsh shadows on tight shots, though it only fits the Astra fixture—so make sure that’s what you’ve got.
