NIKON Z 28-400 mm f/4-8 VR

The reach from 28mm to 400mm means I haven’t swapped lenses once since I got it, and the VR really helps keep those long shots steady even in bad light. Sharpness at the wide end is solid, and honestly, the flexibility is worth the slower aperture.

I brought this lens on a hiking trip and was thrilled that the VR system kept my telephoto shots sharp even when I was a bit shaky. The zoom range covers everything from wide landscapes to distant wildlife without needing to swap glass.

The close-up capability at 28mm is really handy for quick food shots, and the zoom ring turns smoothly. Handling is good for the range, and the VR steadying my shots at the long end was a nice surprise.
