I was worried about dust getting trapped inside the camera, but the Drop-In design makes it incredibly easy to install without any mess. The way it softens harsh highlights in sunny outdoor shots is really noticeable and pleasing.

The softening effect on skin tones is really subtle but makes a noticeable difference in portraits—it takes the edge off without looking dreamy or washed out. I’ve been using it for close-up shots and the micro-contrast reduction gives a more filmic look straight out of camera.

Installed this drop-in filter behind my lens and the softening effect on skin tones is subtle but very natural. It cuts the harsh digital micro-contrast exactly as described. Took all the edge off my video footage without making it look hazy.
