La RME Digiface AVB est une interface audio à 256 canaux. C’est un regard sur l’avenir de la technologie des réseaux audio. L’appareil utilise AVB, un protocole ouvert développé par l’IEEE, pour transférer jusqu’à 256 canaux audio entre un PC et un réseau audio. Une sortie casque supplémentaire permet un monitoring de haute qualité.
De nouvelles façons de transporter l’audio
Le Digiface AVB de RME montre comment l’audio peut être transféré d’un Mac ou d’un PC vers le réseau et vice-versa en utilisant la pile de protocoles AVB. Il permet d’envoyer jusqu’à 128 canaux audio pour l’enregistrement et la lecture à une fréquence d’échantillonnage de 48 kHz / 24 bits et 64 canaux à 96 kHz (128 canaux I/O AVB) ou 32 canaux à 192 kHz avec quadruple vitesse (64 canaux I/O AVB).
