The barn doors click into place with a satisfying snap, and the beam spread from 17° to 43° is buttery smooth to adjust. I've used it on two shoots already and the light falloff is so much cleaner than my old reflector setup.

This Fresnel really helps shape the light precisely with its barn doors, and the zoom control feels sturdy and smooth to adjust. I was able to get a nice hard shadow for a dramatic key light effect, which was exactly what I needed for a recent shoot.

The 17° to 43° zoom range on this lens gives me exactly the beam control I needed for tighter shots, and the built-in barn doors are a huge time-saver on set. Solid build, no complaints.
