That 1.6x squeeze is a game changer for full-frame—the horizontal bokeh distortion looks exactly like what I’ve seen in cinema stills, and the T2.9 lets me shoot handheld without a ton of light. Focus ring is buttery smooth, too, which is rare at this price point.

Shot my first short film with it last weekend and the anamorphic flares on streetlights were exactly the cinematic look I was after. The 1.6x squeeze gives that classic widescreen feel without needing a huge rig, and the image is impressively sharp wide open.

Finally got this lens and the 1.6x squeeze gives such a cinematic look straight out of camera. The focusing ring has a nice damped feel that makes pulling focus smooth.
